LORD OF THE DRINKS LAUNCHES IN SOUTH INDIA WITH CHENNAI’S LARGEST RESTO-BAR

Lord Of The Drinks (LOTD), known for its successful presence on the nightlife scenes of Mumbai, Pune and Delhi, finally arrives in South India with the launch of the city’s largest resto-bar. LOTD is India’s largest bar chain, and is brought to Chennai in a collaboration between First Fiddle Restaurants and partners Mr. Raj Thirumal, Mr. Manish Khubchandani, Mr. Kartic Ramesh and Mr. Kartik Elamvazhuthi. Located in upscale Nungambakkam, the Chennai branch.

The LOTD chain is popular for its medieval European concept ambience and eclectic food and beverage options. LOTD Chennai’s menu has been tailored to pay homage to homegrown cuisines, with items such as Madurai mutton chukka, paya onion soup and curd rice with ghee roast chicken. Replete with familiar flavours, fresh innovations and the finest in imported and local ingredients, the menu has been curated by Chef Sagar Bajaj, Corporate Head of First Fiddle Restaurants.

First Fiddle Restaurants is the parent company of 25 of India’s most interesting F&B brands, including Plum by Bent Chair, Dragonfly Experience and Lazeez Affaire, and is set to rapidly expand its presence through franchising. Speaking on their entry into the South Indian market, MD & CEO Mr. Priyank Sukhija says, “As LOTD grows, with recent accomplishments such as opening Asia’s longest island bar in Mumbai, we have keenly sought opportunities to bring the brand to South India’s most eminent city. We couldn’t be more excited to see how Chennai embraces us.”

Speaking on the launch of the Chennai branch, partner Mr. Raj Thirumal says, “The LOTD experience is something we are thrilled to bring here.
