Andhra CM meets Amit Shah, raises the special status issue again
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and discussed various issues related to the state.
He reiterated the demand for Special Category Status so that industries prefer Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
He said the state’s bifurcation had adverse effects on the services and industrial sectors and these problems can be overcome only by Special Category Status.
