Son killed his father and buried the body near the highway in Karnataka

A man killed his father, Shivanappa, and concealed his body in a gunny bag. The incident occurred in Vadluru district of the state. The accused, Eranna, is 35 years old and had a dispute with his father over money. Shivanappa’s land was acquired as a highway by the government.

Eranna wanted all the money from the land acquisition, leading to frequent quarrels. On July 7, during a quarrel, Eranna assaulted his father with a pipe. Shivanappa succumbed to his injuries from the assault. The accused then stuffed his father’s body into a gunny bag and buried it near his land, beside the highway.

The shocking incident came to light after the police investigation. Eranna has been arrested for the murder and is now facing legal proceedings.
