The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft carrying NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley successfully docked with the International Space Station on Sunday, marking the beginning of a new era in the US space programme.
“Docking confirmed – Crew Dragon has arrived at the @space_station,” SpaceX tweeted.
The spacecraft lifted off at 3.22 p.m. EDT on Saturday on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at NASA”s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.
