YSRCP Leader Challenges Naidu to Secure Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh

YSR Congress Party MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy asserted on June 17 that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu could easily secure Special Category Status (SCS) for the state if he leveraged his party’s support within the NDA.

Reddy pointed out that Naidu’s alliance with the BJP places him in a favorable position to negotiate with central leaders. This remark comes amidst ongoing political debates, with YSRCP criticizing TDP’s previous abandonment of the SCS demand in favor of a special package from the Centre.
