In a tragic incident, a 25-year-old painter, identified as P. Ajith from Laxmipuram near Minjur, was murdered following a drunken brawl, and his lifeless body was callously thrown into a well. Ajith left home with friends on a Monday evening and failed to return, prompting his worried father, Pachaiyappan, to file a complaint with the Minjur police.
After apprehending two suspects from Ramareddypalayam and Minjur, the police uncovered a grim story during interrogation. Ajith had been brutally beaten to death by his friends in a drunken dispute near the lake bed of Ramareddypalayam on Monday, after which they disposed of his body by tossing it into a nearby well.
Ajith’s body, bound with clothing, was subsequently recovered from the well and sent to Government Stanley Hospital for a post-mortem examination. An ongoing investigation aims to identify and locate the suspects involved in this tragic incident.
