A 24-year-old man, Saksham Pruthi, a BTech graduate working in Gurugram, was electrocuted while running on a treadmill at Gymplex Fitness Zone in Rohini, north Delhi. The incident led to his tragic death.
After receiving the postmortem report, the police confirmed electrocution as the cause of death and informed Saksham’s family about it. The gym owner has been arrested on charges of negligence leading to death. Saksham, a resident of Sector 19 in Rohini, used to regularly exercise at the gym in Sector 15.
This unfortunate incident has raised concerns about safety measures at fitness centers and the need for proper equipment maintenance.
