Youth Allegedly Commits Suicide After Failing Army Recruitment Exam

A 24-year-old youth, identified as Appaso Shivaji Panade, reportedly took his own life in Nippani taluk of Karnataka’s Belagavi district on Thursday. Panade, a resident of Hanchinal village, had been attempting to clear the Army recruitment examination but faced repeated failures.

Despite working in a private factory in Maharashtra for two years to support his aspirations, he was unable to fulfill his dream of joining the Army. Overwhelmed by the repeated failures, the youth hanged himself at his residence. The Nippani Rural police are investigating the case.
