Women priest molested in MP threatens self-immolation near CM’s residence

A woman priest in Madhya Pradesh alleges molestation by three male priests at a shrine in Indore and threatens self-immolation if no action is taken. She claims to have made attempts to register an FIR against the accused, but the police did not pay heed to her complaint.

The sadhvi makes her allegation at Indore Press Club and threatens to self-immolate in front of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s residence within 24 hours if no FIR is registered. She was accompanied by around half-a-dozen priests, including men, and had previously met state Home Minister Narottam Mishra regarding the matter with no resolution so far.
