Woman Allegedly Assaulted by Husband with Sharp Object in North Delhi

A 27-year-old woman in North Delhi, identified as Salma, was reportedly assaulted by her husband with a sharp object at their home in Moonga Nagar, Dayalpur area, around 6 p.m. on Wednesday. She suffered a head injury and is receiving treatment at Jag Pravesh Hospital, where her condition is said to be stable.

The husband, Azim, is currently on the run, and the police are in the process of registering a case of attempted murder at Dayalpur police station. The motive behind the attack is under investigation, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Northeast, Joy Tirkey.
