West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee met and injured in Car Incident

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sustained a forehead injury when her car had to abruptly stop to avoid a collision with another vehicle. Seated in the front beside the driver, her head hit the windscreen during the sudden stop.

The Chief Minister, who was in Purba Bardhaman for an administrative review meeting, is being transported back to Kolkata for medical attention. Doctors will attend to her injuries upon her return to the city. The incident occurred as her car took evasive action to prevent a collision.
