Vice-President Urges Corporate Contribution to Girl Education

During the centenary celebrations of the Indraprastha College for Women in Delhi University’s north campus, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar emphasized the importance of educating girls and called upon corporates to play a significant role in this endeavor. Dhankhar highlighted women’s pivotal role in Indian democracy, asserting that they are the greatest stakeholders.

He urged businesses to utilize their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to support the education of girls, emphasizing the transformative impact it can have on future generations. Dhankhar stressed that educating a girl can initiate a revolution, shaping a brighter future. Additionally, he extended an invitation to students to visit the new Parliament building, depicting them as soldiers poised to lead India into a golden era over the next 25 years, termed ‘Amrit Kaal’.
