Vandalism at Asaduddin Owaisi’s Residence Sparks Political Controversy

Asaduddin Owaisi, AIMIM president and Lok Sabha member, faced yet another incident of vandalism at his Delhi residence where unknown individuals smeared black ink on the premises. This incident follows earlier protests and demands for his suspension from the Lok Sabha over his controversial statement saying “Jai Palestine” during his oath-taking ceremony.

The posters left at his residence demanded his suspension and expressed dissent with slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘I stand with Israel’. Owaisi, known for his outspoken stance, criticized the repeated attacks and questioned the security measures provided by Delhi Police, tagging senior officials including Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The incident has reignited debates on political dissent and security of elected representatives in India’s democratic framework.
