US Warned Russia of Potential Terror Attack
The White House revealed that earlier in March, the US government had issued a warning to Russian authorities regarding a possible terrorist attack targeting “large gatherings” in Moscow, including concerts. This warning came to light hours after a tragic mass shooting outside the Russian capital claimed the lives of at least 60 people.
National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson stated that the Biden administration adhered to the “duty to warn” policy, sharing specific threat intelligence with Russia. Gunmen unleashed gunfire at a Moscow concert hall, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries, with the Islamic State group claiming responsibility for the attack.
