Unidentified Persons Open Fire at Delhi Residence, Woman Injured

In a shocking incident, unidentified individuals opened fire at the main gate of a residence in Delhi’s Kanjhawala area, resulting in a woman sustaining a bullet injury. The police were alerted about the shooting through a call received at Kanjhawala police station from the control room around 12:32 a.m.

A swift response led a police team to rush to JJ colony, Sawda, where they found that unknown assailants had targeted the complainant’s house. Sadly, one of the female family members was injured in the attack and had already been taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital for treatment.

The police promptly reached the hospital to obtain her Medico-Legal Case (MLC) report. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act, with efforts underway to apprehend the offenders, as per a senior police official.
