Ukrainian President Contemplates Dismissal of Military Chief Amidst Tensions

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has acknowledged considering the possible dismissal of the country’s top military officer, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, causing shockwaves within Ukraine and raising concerns among Western allies. Zelensky, in an interview with Italian RAI TV, stated that the contemplation is part of a broader initiative for a reset and a new beginning in the country’s leadership.
