A Ukrainian drone attack on two buses in Russia’s Belgorod region has resulted in six deaths and left 35 people injured, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
The attack occurred near the village of Berezovka, with one man in serious condition and two children sustaining superficial injuries. The Belgorod region, which shares a border with Ukraine, has faced repeated attacks from Ukrainian artillery, drones, and proxies over the past year. Russia, which invaded Ukraine in 2022, accuses Kyiv of targeting civilians, while Kyiv maintains its right to strike back and accuses the West of overlooking Ukrainian attacks on civilians.
