Uddhav Thackeray Questions PM Modi’s Potential Visit to Manipur
Following RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks expressing concern over the ongoing unrest in Manipur, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has raised questions about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s potential visit to the northeastern state. Thackeray’s inquiry comes amidst escalating tensions in Manipur, with Bhagwat highlighting the urgency of addressing the situation.
Thackeray also voiced concerns about the persistent violence in Jammu and Kashmir despite the abrogation of Article 370. Asserting his focus on the country’s future rather than the NDA government’s, Thackeray emphasized the need for decisive action to address security challenges. Meanwhile, he reiterated unity within the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition regarding candidates for the upcoming State legislative council polls, dismissing any internal differences.
