Two Young Farmers Electrocuted by Snapped High-Tension Wire in Uttar Pradesh

In Dibai village of Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district, two young farmers, Sumit and Krishna, tragically lost their lives after coming into contact with a snapped high-tension wire while collecting fodder on their farm. The families of the victims have blamed the electricity department for negligence in maintaining the infrastructure.

Sumit’s father, Jitendra Singh, claimed that the incident occurred due to the negligence of the electricity department. Both victims were dead. The local police have indicated that an FIR will be registered once an official complaint is received.
