Two-Wheeler Rider Dragged to Death by SUV in Goa, Culprit Arrested
In a tragic incident, a two-wheeler rider lost his life after being dragged around 100 meters by an SUV in Porvorim, Goa. The incident occurred on Monday night. The driver of the Mahindra Thar, Harshit Tamrakar, 21, was arrested for driving his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner.
The SUV collided with a Honda Dio on National Highway 66 in Porvorim. The two-wheeler rider, Surojit Kohley, 28, from West Bengal, suffered severe injuries and succumbed to them during treatment at Goa Medical College.
His pillion rider, Ashok Bosu, also sustained grievous injuries. The police have taken prompt action by arresting the SUV driver responsible for the tragic accident.
