Two Arrested in Connection with Murder of Youth in Thiruvottriyur, Chennai

The Thiruvottriyur police have apprehended two individuals in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old youth, Jothi alias Jothiswaran, in Thiruvottriyur Kuppam. Jothi, who had a history of criminal cases related to motorcycle thefts, was attacked and killed while he was sleeping in a hut near the beach. Two men forcibly dragged him out and hacked him to death.

The suspects initially quarreled with Jothi and his associate while all were drinking but fled the scene when the public intervened. Later, they returned and committed the murder. During the incident, one individual named Manimaran was injured while trying to apprehend the suspects.
