Two Arrested for Assaulting Motorist in Kolathur

The Rajamangalam police have apprehended two suspects, including a history sheeter, for allegedly assaulting a motorist in Kolathur. The victim, S. Prakash (28), was riding his two-wheeler in Mahatma Gandhi Nagar on Monday night when the two suspects intercepted him.

Following an altercation, the duo damaged Prakash’s vehicle and physically assaulted him before fleeing the scene after issuing threats. Acting on the complaint, the police identified and arrested the suspects, Adhi alias Adhikesavan (20), a history sheeter, and Abith alias Chinna Karuppu (19), both residents of Kolathur.
