Following his victory in the Iowa Caucus, former US President Donald Trump has suggested that his Republican rival, Nikki Haley, needs the support of President Joe Biden’s backers to perform well in the New Hampshire primary. Trump, during a campaign trail appearance, claimed that Haley is relying on Democrats and liberals to infiltrate the Republican primary.
He criticized Haley’s speech after her third-place finish in Iowa, deeming it “inappropriate” and “bad for unity.” Trump argued that Haley’s supporters are “pro-Biden” and that if she wins, Biden wins. The upcoming Republican debate on Thursday has been canceled as Haley refused to participate unless Trump joins, and he has yet to appear in any party debates.
