Transgender Woman Rescues Abandoned Newborn

In a heartwarming incident near Maduranthakam, a transgender woman named Lakshmi rescued a newborn baby girl abandoned on a vacant plot. Lakshmi, a resident of the locality near Aathur toll plaza, found the baby early in the morning while she was on her way for farming activities. Shocked to find the just-born baby wrapped in a plastic cover, Lakshmi immediately contacted the 108 Ambulance parked near the toll plaza.

The baby girl, who was admitted to the Chengalpattu Government Hospital after receiving first aid, was found to be just a few hours old. Lakshmi’s swift action in rescuing the abandoned baby has earned her widespread appreciation on social media, highlighting her compassion and humanity.
