Training Workshop for Newly Elected MLAs Held in Rajasthan Assembly
A one-day training workshop for newly elected Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) in Rajasthan is underway. The workshop aims to provide training on various aspects, including parliamentary procedures, rules for conducting business, general conduct in the House, and issues related to Question Hour and Zero Hour. Notable speakers like Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla are sharing their experiences during the sessions.
The workshop also covers topics such as committees of the Assembly, the process of passing the Parliamentary Privileges Bill, budget management, and parliamentary motions.
Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani emphasized maintaining a dialogue between party and opposition MLAs for effective governance and expressed a commitment to increasing the number of Assembly meetings. An all-party meeting is scheduled for January 18 to foster communication between political representatives.
