Tragic Suicide Following Mobile Phone Scolding in Karnataka

In a tragic incident in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapura district, a 15-year-old Class 9 student, Lokesh, took his own life after a heated argument with his parents regarding his mobile phone addiction.

The incident occurred in Chittavalahalli village, where Lokesh’s father expressed concern about his excessive phone usage and urged him to prioritize his studies. The argument escalated, leading to the boy leaving the house in frustration. In a fit of anger and unable to cope with the constant criticism, Lokesh hanged himself from a tree in an isolated area of the village, leaving the community in shock.
