Tragic Robbery: Brick Kiln Worker Fatally Attacked for Mobile Phone

In a harrowing incident near Chembarambakkam lake, a 30-year-old brick kiln worker, Rajesh, lost his life after being assaulted by a gang of three assailants on a bike. The motive behind the attack was purportedly to rob his mobile phone.

Rajesh, who hailed from Arcot, Villupuram district, had relocated with his family to work in Kundrathur to repay debts. Despite his resistance, the attackers, armed with a knife, inflicted fatal injuries on Rajesh before fleeing with his mobile phone. Despite efforts to save him, Rajesh succumbed to his injuries in hospital, leaving behind a grieving family and a community shaken by the senseless violence.
