The Semmancheri Police’s arrest of four transgender individuals for the murder of a trans woman, Simi alias Sadhana, sheds light on a distressing incident. Simi, aged 21, went missing from her home in Perumbakkam, prompting her parents to file missing person reports across multiple police stations. Sadly, her body was discovered with cut injuries along Rajiv Gandhi Salai.

Investigation revealed that the four accused trans persons, who were initially apprehended for unrelated charges, forcibly attempted a gender change surgery on Simi, resulting in her tragic demise.
