Tragic Loss: State-Level Athlete Killed in Chennai Road Accident

A 19-year-old state-level athlete, P. Nidhipadhi Pandian, was tragically killed in a road accident on Mount Poonamallee Road in Chennai while heading to a freshers’ party.

His two-wheeler was struck by a private school bus, whose driver fled the scene after running over Pandian. The police are currently searching for the absconding driver using CCTV footage. Pandian’s body has been sent for a postmortem at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.
