In two separate tragic incidents, four men lost their lives after being run over by trains while trespassing and crossing railway tracks in Chromepet and Ponneri. The first incident occurred in Chromepet, where Sathish and Pranav were struck by an express train while crossing the tracks at night. Their bodies were discovered later by a passenger, prompting police intervention.
In Ponneri, Sekar and Subramani met a similar fate while attempting to cross the tracks at the railway station. The victims, hailing from Salem, were engaged in painting work and tragically lost their lives in the accident. Authorities are conducting investigations into both incidents.
