Tragic Incident on EVR Salai: Youth Fatally Struck by Speeding Car

In a tragic turn of events, a 26-year-old youth named David, also known as Akash, lost his life after being hit by a speeding car while crossing EVR Salai near Kilpauk on Tuesday midnight. Reports indicate that David, in a drunken state, was struck by the car, which was recklessly speeding from Central towards Koyambedu direction.

Despite efforts by police personnel to apprehend the driver, identified as Ajim from Ranipet, the car initially fled the scene. The incident underscores the importance of road safety and responsible driving to prevent such tragic accidents.
