Tragic Hit-and-Run in Bengaluru Claims Lives of Father and Son
A devastating hit-and-run accident in Bengaluru resulted in the death of a man and his son as they were returning home on their bike. The incident occurred late Sunday night at the ISRO Circle near MS Ramaiah Memorial Hospital. According to the police’s preliminary investigation, the car’s occupants were intoxicated and had been involved in a series of accidents before colliding with the bike.
The victims were identified as 65-year-old Raghu, who ran a bookstore in Koramangala, and his 25-year-old son Chiranjeevi. Sadly, another pedestrian named Vasu was also injured in the accident, and his condition is reported to be serious. The car first hit an auto, causing it to overturn on the road, and then crashed into Vasu while attempting to flee.
Subsequently, the vehicle collided with the bike carrying the father and son, instantly killing them. The locals managed to apprehend one of the accused, Akash and handed him over to the police, but the others managed to escape in the car.
