Tragic Fire at Chinese School Dormitory Claims 13 Lives

In Henan province, China, a devastating fire erupted at a male dormitory of Yingcai School, claiming the lives of 13 students. The local fire department received the alarm around 11 p.m., and despite swift rescue efforts, the flames were extinguished at 11:38 p.m. The dormitory housed around 30 boarding students, with one student sustaining injuries and receiving treatment at the hospital.

Yingcai School, a private institution with a history of over a decade, primarily enrolls students from nearby rural areas.
