Tragic Electrocution Incident During Mobile Tower Debris Clearance in Bengaluru

In a tragic incident in Bengaluru, a 20-year-old laborer, Jatin Kumar, lost his life due to electrocution while clearing debris from a collapsed mobile tower on Laggere Main Road. The incident occurred during the removal process when the crane used for debris clearance came into contact with a live electricity wire. Jatin collapsed, and others in the vicinity suffered electric shocks but escaped with minor injuries.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, Jatin Kumar was declared dead. The Nandini Layout police have registered a case of causing death due to negligence against the telecom company and crane operators, initiating further investigation. The collapse of the mobile tower resulted from construction activities on an adjacent plot, prompting the evacuation of nearby residents.
