Tragic Drowning Incident in South Goa Claims Two Lives, Driver Missing
In a devastating incident at Taripanto in Sanguem, South Goa, two persons, including a two-year-old boy, lost their lives allegedly due to drowning after their car plunged into a river from a bridge. The incident occurred on Monday evening, and the bodies of the mother and her two-year-old son were recovered from the car after it was retrieved from the river bed with the assistance of a crane.
However, the search for the car’s driver, who went missing after the accident, resumed early the next morning. The Curchorem fire station personnel have been conducting the search operation, but as of now, the driver remains untraced.
