In a harrowing incident in Sholavaram, a 22-year-old woman named R. Sandhya was apprehended for allegedly murdering her one-month-old son. Medical complications prevented Sandhya from breastfeeding the baby, triggering frequent arguments with her husband.

On Sunday, Sandhya confessed to her husband that the infant was missing, leading to a futile search. It was later discovered that in a fit of rage over her breastfeeding struggles, Sandhya had thrown her son into a well, resulting in the tragic loss of life.
