A devastating collision between a bus and a truck in Assam’s Golaghat district resulted in at least 12 fatalities and left 25 others injured. The tragic incident occurred around 5 a.m. in the Balijan area near Dergaon. Golaghat SP Rajen Singh reported that the bus, en route from the Kambandha area to Tilanga Mandir, collided with a truck approaching from the opposite direction.
Regrettably, 10 individuals lost their lives at the accident site, while the remaining two succumbed to injuries at the Jorhat Medical College and Hospital. Authorities are conducting investigations to determine the cause of the collision and ensure appropriate action is taken.
