Tragic Accident Claims Lives of 13 Pilgrims, Shocks Emmehatti Residents

The village of Emmehatti in Shivamogga district, Karnataka, was devastated by the news of a tragic accident that claimed the lives of 13 villagers on a pilgrimage. The group of 17 family members, led by 23-year-old Adarsh, was traveling in a recently purchased Tempo Traveller to temples in Karnataka and Maharashtra.

The accident occurred in Haveri district on June 28, leaving only four survivors, including Adarsh’s sister. The local police informed the village early in the morning, prompting a wave of grief as relatives rushed to Haveri. The loss has left the small community in shock, mourning the deaths of beloved family members and friends.
