Tragic Accident Claims Life of 24-Year-Old Food Vendor in Chennai

In a tragic incident in Ponneri on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, a 24-year-old food vendor lost his life in a sudden fall. Manoj Kumar, a young man from Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh, along with his elder brother Santosh, was engaged in food preparation and sales. On that fateful evening, Manoj was on the first floor of a house in Sakthi Nagar, Ponneri, preparing food.

When he attempted to descend to purchase groceries, he slipped on the stairs and suffered severe body and head injuries. He was swiftly transported to Government Stanley Hospital for treatment but tragically succumbed to his injuries within hours. The Ponneri police have initiated an investigation into the incident, filing a case in this regard.
