Traffic Congestion in Delhi’s ITO Area Amid G20 Summit Security Measures

Delhi’s ITO area experienced significant traffic congestion on Tuesday as security measures heightened in the national capital in preparation for the upcoming G20 Summit later this week. Vehicles in ITO crawled through long queues, and traffic jams were reported in several other areas, including Patel Nagar, Punjabi Bagh to Ashok Vihar, Shadipur Crossing, and Karol Bagh.

Frustrated commuters took to Twitter to express their grievances, accusing the police of traffic mismanagement and calling for better arrangements. As part of security preparations for the G20 Summit scheduled for September 9-10, Delhi Police initiated vehicle inspections at various locations across the city, leading to temporary delays and congestion in some areas.
