The Odisha police have arrested a traditional healer and her three sons for their alleged involvement in the killing of a 14-year-old boy in the Angul district. The victim, identified as Sanchit Biswal from Subarnapur village, went to seek blessings at a special worship place for Goddess Mangala, run by the woman priest Ritanjali Bagh, on July 22.
Sanchit and his mother were accommodated in separate rooms at Mangala Kothi that night. However, the next morning, the boy was found missing. Despite a frantic search by family members, he couldn’t be found, and a missing complaint was lodged at Kiakata police station on July 24. The police subsequently arrested Ritanjali Bagh and her three sons, Dibyaranjan, Soumya Ranjan, and Jyotiranjan, in connection with the incident.
