TN corona count at 59,377 cases, death toll 757

As many as 2,532 persons tested positive for coronavirus and 53 Covid-19 patients breathed their last in Tamil Nadu over the past 24 hours, the State Health Department said on Sunday.

In a statement issued here, it said that the new cases have taken the total tally to 59,377, while the death toll has risen to 757.

On the other hand, a total of 1,438 Covid-19 patients got cured and were discharged from various hospitals. The total number of cured patients in the state as on Sunday stands at 32,754.
