Three Killed and Others Injured as Bus Rams into Passengers at Vijayawada Bus Stand

A tragic accident occurred at the Pandit Nehru Bus Stand in Vijayawada when a state-owned Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus rammed into passengers waiting at the platform.

The accident resulted in the death of three individuals, including a bus conductor, a woman, and a boy, with several others sustaining injuries. The bus had arrived on platform number 12 to pick up passengers, but the driver mistakenly put the first gear instead of the reverse gear, leading to the tragic incident. Injured passengers were taken to nearby hospitals.
