Three Arrested for Molotov Cocktail Attack on Chennai Shoe Shop

In an alarming incident, three individuals were apprehended by the Washermenpet police for throwing a Molotov cocktail bottle in front of a closed shoe shop on Monegar Choultry Road in Chennai.

The attack, perpetrated by a gang arriving on a two-wheeler, resulted in the shop’s shutter catching fire, swiftly doused by vigilant locals, averting major damage. Identified through CCTV footage, the accused, R. Vicky alias Vignesh, S. Jeeva, and M. Krishnan alias Yuvaraj, were found to have prior criminal records, leading to their immediate arrest and subsequent remand.
