Three Arrested for Assaulting Passengers at Pattabiram Railway Station

The Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested three individuals, including a juvenile, for assaulting passengers at Avadi Hindu College Railway Station in Chennai. The incident occurred when the group, allegedly intoxicated, harassed commuters using tubelights and PVC pipes, injuring a passenger named Paramasivam who confronted them.

CCTV footage of the attack has gone viral on social media, aiding the police in identifying and apprehending Subash, 23, S. Ibrahim, 22, and a 14-year-old boy. Efforts are ongoing to locate another suspect involved in the assault who remains at large.
