Thirumangalam Metro station launched electric auto and minibus for last-long connectivity

Thirumangalam Metro Station in Chennai has introduced new transportation services to enhance last-mile connectivity for commuters. A minibus service has been launched, operating between Thirumangalam and Korattur Water Canal Road, passing through Anna Nagar West, Padi, and Korattur railway station.

This service aims to provide convenient transportation options to residents in the area. In addition, 10 electric autorickshaws have been flagged off as part of the initiative. The fare for these autorickshaws has been fixed at ₹25 per kilometer.

This move is expected to reduce reliance on private vehicles and promote eco-friendly transportation. The introduction of these services is a step towards improving the overall commuting experience for passengers using Thirumangalam Metro Station.
