After questioning at the ATS office, a couple emerged separately in their respective vehicles on Monday night, as per sources. Seema, during the interrogation, was specifically asked about recovered documents and SIM cards. The ATS, in coordination with Central agencies, is investigating Seema’s journey from Pakistan to Uttar Pradesh.
Furthermore, the ATS and Central agencies are conducting a probe into the network involved in facilitating illegal migration from Pakistan to Dubai and then to India via Nepal. Seema’s complete profile is being traced through her contacts and family in Pakistan, where her uncle holds the rank of Subedar in the Pakistani Army, and her brother also serves in the same army.
These details have prompted investigating agencies to explore the possibility of Seema’s association with the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. In order to verify her identity, Seema’s ID card has reportedly been sent to the Indian High Commission in Pakistan for authentication.
