Temporary Humanitarian Truce Begins in Gaza
The first temporary humanitarian truce between Hamas and Israel went into effect at 7:00 a.m. on Friday in the Gaza Strip. As part of the agreement, 130,000 liters of diesel and four trucks of gas from Egypt will enter Gaza daily, along with 200 trucks loaded with food, medicine, and water.
The truce aims to facilitate the entry of aid and fuel into the Gaza Strip, where residents have been facing severe shortages amid the conflict. Additionally, the agreement includes provisions for the release of 13 Israeli detainees in Gaza. The ceasefire is scheduled to last four days, providing a brief respite in the ongoing hostilities.
