Telangana Transport Department’s Clampdown on Life Tax Defaulters

Telangana’s Transport Department is intensifying efforts to tackle vehicle owners who have defaulted on life tax payments.

Motor vehicle inspectors will conduct inspections targeting vehicles from other states found operating in Telangana beyond the permissible 30-day period. The life tax, based on the vehicle’s age, is mandatory under current regulations, aiming to ensure compliance and revenue generation for the state.
