Telangana Health Minister Emphasizes Role of DMHOs in Public Health

Telangana Minister of Health, Medical and Family Welfare, Damodar Raja Narsimha, underscored the pivotal role of District Medical & Health Officers (DMHOs) in bolstering the public health system. Addressing DMHOs from various districts, he stressed on their responsibility in ensuring quality healthcare delivery to the underprivileged populations.

He emphasized the need for DMHOs to conduct thorough inspections of private hospitals, enforce government regulations, and streamline medical health programs effectively. Minister Narsimha also directed DMHOs to prioritize geographical connectivity of health facilities and enforce stringent measures under the Clinical Establishments Act to enhance public trust in government hospitals.
